Fenced yard and a quiet home environment required for this sweet gal!* Hi, my name is Pennie
and I came all the way from the streets of Texas with the help of Ruff Start Rescue! Because I
was likely mistreated and on my own for so long, I am learning not to be frightened of people
and day to day life. I really like the other small dog that is here, so a canine friend that is not too
big or nosey would be great for me to continue to learn what being a dog is! I am not potty
trained to go outside yet, but I am using my poddy pads perfectly. I know to go potty outside but
getting me there is a work in progress. I hope to have a calm and peaceful forever home. Time
and patience are what I need so I can adjust to living in a house, having a safe yard to explore
the world, and a family who can truly give me the future I so deserve. I need a home with a
fenced yard so I can work on going potty outside in a safe and escape free environment. Young
children would likely be too much for me because loud noises and fast movements send me into
hiding mode but I do well during thunderstorms, vacuuming and other noises, I have become so
brave! I would also benefit from more positive training and even have a trainer come into the
home to work with me.
