He is 17 weeks old currently. When he was about 5 weeks old, he was shot with 3 BBs and left to roam with one sibling in the woods for about a week down in Alabama. When we were able to get him at about 6 weeks old, he went right to the U of M where he had neurology surgery to remove one of the BBs that was pushing his spinal cord way over to the side. He is paralyzed in his back two legs, has no bowel or bladder control. He is slowly gaining control of one of his back legs.. nothing short of a miracle. He still has yet to stand on it but pushes up on it sometimes as he is scooting around. His other back leg is in contracture and will remain that way.

His personality is incredible and he is so happy just to be loved and in return, his love makes you happy just looking at him. He is content, cuddly, loving and there is just something pretty special about this little boy with so many challenges but you would not know that by watching and interacting with him. To top it all off, on July 4th, he was hit in the face by a firework... it was a stray from the neighbor's house at a small lake party. In true Survivor fashion, he rallied and ended up ok after a very emotional scary event.
