Stella is a rescue from Midwest Animal Rescue & Services, adopted by us in 2009. It is believed she was transferred from Chicago Animal Care & Control after being found as a stray. She’s sweet but grumpy and bossy and has always been an “old soul." In her old age she still maintains good hearing and vision, enjoys walks, but sleeping the day away is her favorite pass time. She was our first rescue dog and opened our eyes to the rescue community and advocating for pit bull type dogs.
